| So I almost could have died Sunday night because some bitch in front of us thought she should stop at the end of the on ramp to let a truck by. She had plenty of room to go in front of the truck, she was just stupid. Fortunately there was no one behind us, because if there was we could have been rear-ended.
I have locked the kitten in the bathroom. This morning I was trying to get back to sleep and he decided it would be a good idea to attack my face. It's been a battle just to sleep every night because we like to leave the door open so Meryn can get in and out, but the stupid kitten is always attacking me. | I spent hours and hours stranded at the mall yesterday with no money and no way to leave, so I did the only logical thing and went to read hordes and hordes of children's books. ^_^ The best one I found was called Squids will be Squids.
So today I'm pretty much alone. I plan to waste all my time on the internet, instead of doing productive things like the dishes. The girl is in Idaho for a week, the boy is in Los Alamos and I don't expect him back before five. I'd be surprised if he got home before dark. I couldn't get to sleep after he left because I kept hearing sounds like human footsteps around the house, plus the girl in the apartment next to us was crashing all her furniture around.

As long as it's something that's used a lot, I don't really care if it's in the living room, unless it's left just laying on the floor where someone can trip over it. | I just got off of work. I want to go home and sleep, but the boy is working. Better yet, I want to go home, change, go shopping for stuff to clean with tomorrow, go back home, watch some movies or something, then go to sleep. And recharge my cell phone... meep. Tomorrow I want to work at getting the house in order so we can have a housewaming party later in the month, plus that way our pets won't go belly-up. That includes the cat.

| I had nightmares Monday. Stayed up all night worried and stressed and lonely and exhausted, ended up waking Pirate, he tried to console me but that was impossible without a large amount of money to back up that things would be okay. I finally fell asleep around 6:30 and had nightmares about everything. It was one of the worst sleeps this body has ever gotten, almost as horrible as those Wal-Mart dreams when Rivvi first started working there. Dreams where you're just working through the whole thing, and then you wake up and go to work. We woke up at about noon and lounged around and then checked the mail before I went to work. And his paycheck was in there. The end result being that last night was one of the best sleeps this body has ever gotten.
After work we drove up into the Sandias and looked down on Albuquerque. A city sprawling out below you at night is more beautiful and impressive than any written word or picture could ever convey. It's just something you have to see for yourself. | | comments: 2 Enlightened or God is an American |
